The audience Q&A has long been a staple of TV and film events, because it allows fans to pose questions directly to their favorite filmmakers and actors. These panels can make for some beautiful, unscripted moments — and also lead to some cringeworthy experiences.
Why bring this up? Because at Thursday's Westworld screening at Tribeca Film Festival, an attendee decided to tell his captive audience of HBO stars and co-creator Jonathan Nolan, in part: "My brother and I right here, we’re huge fans of Interstellar. If anybody else is as well? I think a lot of us are. You wrote that, and we’re actually (aspiring) screenwriters as well and that inspired us a lot. And you’ve touched something within us, and we hope that one day we can actually show our screenplay to you.”read more
