216 Educational Institutions Were Destroyed By The Russian Bombing, The Ministry Of Defense Of Ukraine

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense says that 2,129 educational institutions in the country have been bombed since the Russian invasion in February. 216 educational institutions were destroyed because of the airstrike, according to a statement from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. According to the Ministry of Defense, severe bombardment caused damage to 25 orphanages and shelters.

The Defense Ministry further reported that 530 cultural facilities in Ukraine, including theaters and religious and cultural institutes, had been bombed and destroyed by Russia. It should be remembered that in July, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said that since the beginning of the war, 5 thousand 24 Ukrainian citizens have been killed and 6 thousand 250 have been injured.
